Kaleab Tadesse (Ph.D.) is currently a senior researcher at FDRE Defence War College. Prior to this, he was a lecturer at the Department of Political Science and International Relations, Ambo University. He was also a Research Assistance at Amani Africa Media and Research (Addis Ababa), a Think Tank on African Union Peace and Security Council, and a Researcher at Ludovika Research Group, National University of Public Service (Hungary).

Kaleab has B.A in Political Science and International Relations from Addis Ababa University and M.A in International Relations from the same university and Ph.D. in Military Science from the Doctoral School of Military Science, National University of Public Service, (Hungary). Kaleab, besides publishing several articles on peace and security issues of the Horn of Africa region, also wrote a book on Ethiopian historical constitutional development titled “Hige Menigist Be’itiopia: Ke’fitiha Negest eske Ifedri. (Constitution in Ethiopia: From Fitiha Negest to FDRE).” His main research interests are local and regional security trends, peace support operations, and foreign and national security policy.
